As a London based baritone, Paul is an active member of the local music and theatre community having performed works at the London Fringe Festival and with local theatre companies, jazz & classical musicians, London Symphonia (formerly Orchestra London Canada), and as a chorister and soloist with the Grammy and JUNO-nominated Elora Singers. Additionally, Paul is the conductor of the Canadian Celtic Choir.

Originally from Brandon, Manitoba, Paul has performed extensively and studied across western Canada including the Banff Centre, the Edmonton Opera, performing operatic roles in Mozart’s Cosi fan tutte and Le Nozze di Figaro, Puccini’s Tosca and Turandot, Lehar’s The Merry Widow, and many others.

No stranger to musical theatre with credits including leading roles in South Pacific, Fiddler on the Roof, Joseph and the Amazing Technicolour Dreamcoat, and many more. Concert repertoire includes Mendelssohn’s Elijah, Haydn’s The Creation, and Handel’s Messiah, Faure’s Requiem along with major works from all the languages of song.

As a teacher, clinician and conductor, Paul maintains a vibrant private studio, regularly holding workshops in and around Southwestern Ontario. His common-sense teaching style combined with a deep understanding of vocal production and styles help to create a positive, productive and enjoyable learning environment.

Paul holds a Bachelor of Music degree from Brandon University and a Masters of Music degree in Performance and Literature from the University of Western Ontario.
